A GREEK TERRACOTTA DOVE and POMEGRANATE
Hellenistic Period, Circa 4th-3rd Century B.C.
Both perhaps from South Italy, the dove mold-made of orange-red fabric, its head turned to the left, the feathers and feet only summarily indicated, the pomegranate naturalistically-modelled, perforated vertically for suspension
8 1/16 in. (20.5 cm) long for the dove (2)
