AN ETRUSCAN TERRACOTTA VOTIVE FEMALE HEAD
Circa 4th Century B.C.
Her oval face with lidded almond-shaped eyes beneath modelled brows, a slender nose and small mouth, her hair center-parted and bound in a ribbed diadem, with two curling tendrils framing her face, wearing large "a grappolo" earrings and a beaded necklace, a mantle pulled up over the back of her head, traces of red pigment on the diadem
