TWO ROMAN BRONZE VESSEL ATTACHMENTS
Circa 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
Each depicting a leaping panther, one with its head turned to the right, with a long tail looped at its end, standing on a tear-shaped plinth, its forepaws and a strut joined to a hinge attachment with a large ring; and one a female with four rows of teats, her head facing forward, the legs splaying into six feet on a circular plinth, the forepaws joined to a circular attachment with a square socket
