In the form of a lobster claw, naturalistically-modelled with details including the spikey projections along the foreclaw, the propodus with a centaur lunging forward hurling a boulder over his head, a pile of boulders before him, a branch behind, scrolling on the dactylus, the neck of the vessel emerging from the heel of the claw, with a flaring mouth, the arching strap handle joining the neck to the center of the vessel
