AN ITALIC BRONZE VOTIVE HEAD
Circa 3rd-2nd Century B.C.
Cast in the form of the head of a youth, the oval face with a long slender neck, the almond-shaped eyes heavy-lidded with the pupils and irises incised, the arching brows also incised, the lips slightly parted, the wavy hair center-parted with two locks falling onto the cheeks, preserving corroded iron pins on the lower corners for attachment
8¾ in. (22.2 cm) high
