Circa 2nd Century A.D.
Both sides depicting Hermes, one youthful, the other older, the older with thick-lidded eyes under a heavy brow, the small mouth drilled at the corners beneath a long flowing mustache, the spade-shaped beard center-parted, the hair bound in a diadem, the tied falling to the shoulders; the youth with similar eyes, the small mouth with the upper lip slightly protruding, the dimpled chin prominent, the drilled tightly-curled hair bound in a diadem, the top of the hair with a section carved out in antiquity
