A CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
Eastern Mediterranean or Italian, Circa 3rd Century B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the ovoid body with long cylindrical neck, horizontal rim-disk, and long twisted base-knob, with an applied opaque yellow marvered thread attached to the edge of the rim and wound spirally along the neck and body, tooled into a single zig-zag at the shoulders, with cobalt blue twin vertical handles
