A ROMAN GLASS RIBBED BOWL
Probably North Italy, Circa 1st Half of the 1st Century A.D.
Blue in color with an opaque white thread wound spirally around the shoulders, the vertical ribs pinched then the bowl further inflated, causing some of the threads to overlap and form feather patterns, the globular body with a short cylindrical neck and vertical rim, on a flat base
