probably by the Imperial Porcelain Factory and by Imperial Glass Factory, St. Petersburg, mid-19th Century and early 20th Century
Ovoid, the largest porcelain egg with an oval medallion with an image of young man, probably Christ Emmanuel with a garland of flowers at his left shoulder, signed with a Cyrillic initial 'P.' within gilt and ciselé border on gilt ground, the reverse with the ciselé star of Bethlehem within circular medallion; another with cobalt-blue ground gilt and ciselé with monogram of Grand Duke Nicholas Mikhailovich, and '1915' on reverse; the smallest with lilac and gilt X.B. on shaded blue and cream ground; the largest egg of blue opaque glass with a band of yellow and gilt arabeques with applied glass decoration, apparantly unmarked
