Ovoid, one side painted with Saint John Metropolitan of Moscow with gilt details, with a veiw of Moscow in the background, the reverse with a blue and gilt cross with roundels of the Deisis with angels above and below, on lattice ground and oval border of pale blues with blue foliate surround, with blue arabesques and red and white flowerheads on gilt ground, apparently unmarked, with later puce ribbon
