TWO CAUCASIAN SHASQUAS

The first with curved fullered blade double-edged at the point and stamped with maker's name in cyrillic on one side of the forte, the hilt with dark horn grips and associated chased nielloed silver pommel, in associated leather-covered scabbard with nielloed silver mounts chased in low relief with flowers and scrollwork, the locket with beaded border around the mouth, with leather belt mounted in nielloed silver; the second with earlier blade etched on each side of the forte with a hussar and the inscription 'vincere aut mo Hunguria Eisenhaur', the hilt encased in nielloed silver (minor damage), in leather-covered scabbard with leather belt
