With slender tapering blade of stiff diamond section inscribed repectively 'Antonio Pichinio', and 'En Toledo' in the single central fuller on each side of the forte, the ricasso stamped with the letters 'ISM', iron hilt with straight quillons swelling at the tips, knuckle-guard en suite, cup pierced and incised with bands of volutes, spirally fluted wire-bound grip, and associated pommel in the form of a moor's head
