With signed shortened rebrowned twist barrels (fore-sight missing), the breeches each with gold-lined touch-hole (one relined) and single gold line at the rear, engraved grooved tang, signed bevelled locks each with roller, stepped tail, and gold-lined pan (cocks not a pair, left cock with later top jaw and screw, and incomplete comb), figured walnut half-stock (bruised, fore-end chipped), chequered grip, raised cheek-piece, engraved iron mounts, engraved silver escutcheon, and brass-mounted ramrod (some wear throughout), London proof marks
