With tapering cannon barrel, signed breech with raised mouldings at the rear, engraved tang, rounded border engraved lock, globose walnut butt (bruised, old inset repair) carved in relief with acanthus foliage behind the barrel tang, border engraved iron side-plate and butt-cap, and exposed button trigger, London proof marks
