Signed Joyner, London, Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1780
With turn-off cannon barrels, one numbered '1', signed actions engraved with rococo ornament (comb of one cock incomplete), swelling walnut butts inlaid with shells and scrollwork in silver wire (some losses), engraved trigger-guard safety-catches, and silver grotesque mask pommels (iron parts with scattered wear and surface pitting), Tower private proof marks, silver maker's mark of Charles Freeth
