With swamped tapering barrel signed in silver and gold letters on the full-length sighting flat and inlaid with silver strapwork, the top of the breech with gilt maker's stamp (Neue Støckel 7717), silver spider fore-sight, silver-lined touch-hole, engraved tang numbered '2' and incorporating the back-sight, rounded lock engraved with scrollwork on a punched ground and with moulded border, moulded figured walnut full stock carved with scrolls and strapwork in relief and with a satyr-mask behind the barrel tang, gilt-brass mounts cast and chased with shells, scrolls, foliage, and strapwork in relief on a punched ground, the tang of the trigger-guard numbered '2', set trigger, horn fore-end cap, and horn-tipped ramrod
