A PAIR OF 60-BORE ITALIAN FLINTLOCK PISTOLS IN THE BRESCIAN MANNER

With swamped etched barrels in the Turkish manner decorated with encrusted silver scrollwork heightened with gold and set at the muzzle with a ruby, parcel-gilt tangs inset with chased silver panels, blued locks cut with scrolls on a punched and gilt ground (one top jaw and screw replaced), moulded figured walnut full stocks carved in relief with foliage, chiselled parcel-gilt iron mounts inset with chased silver panels, and iron-tipped wooden ramrods (one replaced)
