A CASED 150-BORE SINGLE-TRIGGER OVER-AND-UNDER FLINTLOCK POCKET PISTOL

With blued octagonal barrels, the upper one sighted and signed in gold, each breech with two gold lines and platinum-lined touch-hole, engraved tang, signed case-hardened locks each with blued external mainspring (one replaced), roller, safety-catch (one later), rainproof pan, and engraved 'French' cock, chequered figured walnut butt (minor bruising), scroll engraved silver trigger-guard and pommel, the latter with gold cap engraved with owner's initials 'G H L', small gold escutcheon, iron ramrod with chequered tip, and some original finish: in associated fitted mahogany case lined in blue velvet with a cylindrical copper and brass powder-flask, and a bullet mould, the lid with trade label
