The circular white-enamelled Roman dial signed Hauchar Her/à Paria within a square socle containing the movement with silk-suspended pendulum and outside countwheel strike on bell, surmounted by the allegorical figure of a Greek philosopher with overturned urn, spilling coins, the plinth applied with a relief scene portraying the narrative further
