The BJPA reported: 'To the series of folding Minex camera designed especially for tropical use, Messrs Adams have added a 3½ x 2½ inch size (6 x 9cm.), which embodies all the refinements of this marvel in design among reflex cameras. While affording an extension of more than 12 inches, the camera, when folded, is less than 4 inches in thickness, yet it is opened ready for use by three simple movements, and provides even a greater series of facilities such as rise of front, etc., than the corresponding box pattern. The body constructed of teak, and is covered over all essential parts with lacquered brass. Every detail of construction has evidently been the subject of thorough study, and Messrs. Adams can justly claim the longest experience in the making of de luxe reflex cameras. The price of the 3½ x 2½ tropical folding Minex is £85.'

The Folding Minex was last advertised in 1940.
