AMERICAN, MAKERS MARK UNCLEAR, POSSIBLY R.W.& S. LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY
the front stamped with a chained and kennelled bulldog, the reverse with engraved initials -- 6.5cms; and a further American silver vesta case, stamped with a depiction of an alligator and exotic foliage, the hinged cover forming the animals mouth, Shiebler and Co., late nineteenth century -- 6.2cms.
