Late 19th Century, each signed Ahne
Painted with oval cartouches of scantily-draped nymphs emblematic of Earth and Water, each surrounded by cherubs, the first in a forest landscape, the second on a rocky wave-tossed shore, the cartouches with elaborate gilt scroll borders and reserved on a dusty-pink-ground (slight wear and discolouration to ground)
