Two Clichy miniature patterned concentric millefiori weights
Mid 19th Century
The first with a central turquoise rose with yellow stamens, within seven white star canes with yellow stamens encircled by five mauve, pink and white canes with stars to the centres and ten green and white tubular canes with stars to the edges and each enclosing a miniature pink rose (very slight bruising and scratching, minor chipping to base), 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) diam.; the second with a central blue cane encircled by nine pink and white canes within an outer circle of five green, orange and yellow and ten mauve and yellow canes (scratching and bruising), 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) diam. (2)
