A superb '99. At the two earliest tastings described as 'Deep, velvety', and even after only 18 months in cask with a glorious nose and delicious flavour. Most recently: very good, rich mocha nose and flavour. Good flesh, very oaky and tannic. Last tasted at the château, Oct 2001. 2006-2020. MB.
