The octagonal-shaped old European and baguette-cut diamond frame of geometric motif, centering upon an old European and single-cut diamond pierced basket, holding carved sapphire and ruby fruits, with cultured pearl accents, hinged to reveal a rectangular watch to the reverse, of nickel-finished lever movement, 19 jewels, the white dial with black Arabic numerals and blued-steel hands, mounted in platinum, circa 1925
