Lot Essay

Zorin is seen wearing an identical jacket at the beginning of the film in the scene where he picks up May Day, played by Grace Jones, in a speedboat on the River Seine in Paris after her dramatic parachute descent from the Eiffel Tower following her assasination of Aubergine, the detective tracking Zorin, in the Eiffel Tower nightclub.

An identical jacket was sold through these rooms on 12 December, 2001. It has now been confirmed by the Wardrobe Supervisor on the film that three of these jackets were purchased for the film.
