North German or Netherlandish, circa 1600-1620
The arch carved with the Israelites collecting manna from heaven, the main panel depicting a young man flanked by Moses on his left and Christ on his right each pointing respectively to scenes from the old and the new testament, the lower panel depicting Moses leading the Israelites out of the Red Sea, the Egyptians engulfed by water behind them, the panels associated but possibly by the same artist, minor chips, losses to the extremities, some shrinkage to the panels
