The rectangular top with raised rim, inset with a rectangular panel depicting an elaborate central scroll cartouche enclosing a scene of the Annunciation, Gabriel shown holding a banner inscribed AVE MARIA GRATIA PLENA, with elaborate Rouen-type lambrequin border, above a waved frieze and slender cabriole legs with shaped feet
