Third quarter 19th Century
The drum-shaped case surmounted by musical instruments and flanked by fruiting sprays, containing the enamelled Roman and Arabic dial, pierced ormolu hands, the movement with silk suspended pendulum and rack-strike with two hammers on two bells, supported by a pedestal with musical trophy, on shaped plinth base and turned waisted feet, minor losses, the earlier movement adapted to fit the case
