Flemish, late 19th Century
The galleried top centred by an arched pediment with dolphin mounts, all surmounted by ball finials, above an architectural facade, the doors and drawers inset with wood panels painted with various castles and country houses, framed in scrolling foliate mounts and ripple mouldings, the two doors flanked and divided by pilasters enclosing a mirror panelled interior surmounted by a drawer with mirror panelled gallery, above a further drawer flanked and divided by bombé brackets with a sliding writing surface inlaid with geometric strapwork, flanked to either side by four drawers above a frieze with two drawers, the stand with panelled frieze above a waved apron with ring-turned bosses, on ring-turned legs joined by a box-stretcher, on ball feet, some mounts loose but retained
