A Japanese lacquered bamboo walking stick
Late Meiji Period
with a globular gnarled grip, carved along the stick simulating snakes and lizards sliding in and out above a snail, incised calligraphy and copper mount to the base -- 35in. (89cm.) long, (minor wear).
