A Chinese ivory puzzle ball on stand
19th Century
the concentric balls carved and pierced with a number of smaller geometric patterned sections within an outer case carved with dragons amongst cloud scrolls, the stand carved with a bearded immortal and child holding peaches on rockwork, on a circular base carved and pierecd with flowers, the top with screw-on finial carved with a tiger on rockwork -- 12¾in. (32.4cm.) high, (minute nibbles).
