A rock crystal snuff bottle
19th and 20th Century
of rounded rectangular shape, incised with lotus issuing from rockwork to one side, stopper -- 2 7/8in. (7.2cm.) high; a shadow agate bottle carved through the darker inclusions with an immortal to one side and butterflies to the reverse, a porcelain bottle painted with ships amongst waves, stopper and a blue and white porcelain bottle painted with a group of monkeys at leisure in caves and exterior scenes -- 2¾in. (7cm.) max. high, (minor damages).
