The German porcelain case modelled with a swag-hung urn (formerly with cover), flanked by two reclining ladies and on breakfront base raised on toupie feet, with acanthus cast ormolu bezel to the white enamel Roman dial signed VALERY/PARIS, black painted moon hands, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 19½in. (49.5cm.) wide; with giltwood plinth
