A German gilt-brass mounted striking bracket clock, early 20th century
The arched case with brass pineapple finials, caryatid mounts to the front angles and cast sound frets to the sides, the stepped base raised on foliate claw feet, the arched brass dial with flower and shell spandrels to a silvered Roman chapter ring with matted centre, blued steel hands, the twin barrel movement with ting-tang strike on two gongs -- 23¾in. (60cm.) high; with an associated mahogany wall bracket -- 14in. (36cm.) high (2)
