With curved underside to the back box, white painted iron Roman dial, blued steel spade hands, the movement with four back-screwed pillars and rectangular plates, chain fusee with anchor escapement, stamped SM & Co./1939 and numbered 11552 on the back plate -- 18½in. (47cm.) diameter
