An English oak drop-dial wall clock, third quarter 19th century
The trunk with Gothic style glazed panel, flanked by 'ears' and with slightly curved underside, white painted iron Roman dial with steel spade hands, signed W.F. Evans/HANDSWORTH, the four pillar movement with shouldered plates, single wire fusee with anchor escapement, with wood-rod pendulum -- 21¾in. (55cm.) high
