The case with eagle cresting and carved with foliage and scrolls, with later deep convex glass to later glazed paper dial, later and black painted hands, the movement now with three wire fusees and anchor escapement, hour strike on bell and quarter strike on two bells; case mid 18th century, dial 20th century, movement 18th century, adapted and associated -- 30½in. (77.5cm.) high
