rectangular with rounded corners, on four gadrooned feet, the border of the base decorated with egg and dart design, the sides and the hinged cover with baby-blue transluscent enamel over guilloché ground, with ribbon tied rose garlands en grisaille, gilt interior, with four stamp compartments, marked under base
