cylindrical with a domed cover, the side with embossed applied facsimile stamp concealing a stamp aperture, the cover embossed, "Wharton's Rotary Stamp Box, Registered Oct 21 1854" and with the Royal coat of arms and motto, the inner cover with applied spindle -- 4.8cms. See Illustration
