A pair of Chamberlain's Worcester candlesticks
Circa 1800, gilt script marks
The cylindrical stems painted with an iron-red band gilt with stylised flowerheads within a yellow ground diamond-shaped cartouches flanked by black semi-circles, beneath rectangular panels painted with stylised ornament, above flower-sprays, a band of foliage and foliate sprigs, the square spreading foot painted with a similar iron-red band above gilt rectangular panels (one with restored rim chip)
