An English delft polychrome floor-tile, a brown-glazed pottery chamber-pot, a pottery dish and a pot
The first early seventeenth century, possibly Southwark, museum inventory number 122/1 in black, the remainder possibly fourteenth century, museum inventory numbers 95, 53 and 93 in black
The first painted in shades of blue, green and ochre with a chequed pattern within concentric manganese and blue lines, the corners painted with flower-heads (some chipping); the chamber-pot of typical form, enriched in a brown-glaze (chip to rim and handle, minor glaze chipping); the two-handled shallow-dish enriched to the interior with a green-glaze (cracked); the bowl with flattened rim, enriched to the exterior with a green glaze (extensively chipped)
The first 5 3/8 in. (13.7 cm.) square
