A pair of Paris dark-blue ground topographical plates
Circa 1835, gilt decorator's marks for Boyer S. de Feuillet.
Painted with views of figures at leisure before the gardens of Versailles, within a richly-gilt well, the borders each reserved with three panels painted with topographical views of Paris and Versailles within raised gilt foliate cartouches below gilt scrolls enclosing diaper sections and issuing flowers, the borders gilt with leaves and a dot pattern, shaped gilt line rims (one with a faint crack to rim, some minor scratches and light rubbing)
