A German porcelain two-handled écuelle, cover and stand
Late 19th century, Pressnummer 31 to écuelle and stand
The écuelle with green branch handles tied with blue cord and with flower and foliage terminals, each side painted in puce camaïeu with frolicking putti at various pursuits in wooded landscapes in shaped quatrefoil gilt cartouches with flower-sprays flanked by scattered flower-sprays, the domed cover similarly decorated below a large green flowering branch finial, the border of the lobed stand similarly decorated about a central gilt stylised flower-head (slight chipping to flowers)
The stand 8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.) wide
