A Vienna-style plate
Late 19th century, blue shield mark
Painted by Wagner with a portrait titled Flieder, half-length, wearing a loose yellow robe garlanded with flowers, holding a sprig of lilac, her hair garlanded, signed, within a richly-gilt border with raised geometric ornament, the copper-lustre border elaborately gilt with panels of scrolling foliage (very minor wear)
9½ in. (14.2 cm.) diam.
