A Meissen figure of Cupid
Circa 1880, blue crossed swords mark, incised F.7., Pressnummer, iron-red 58.
Scantilly-clad with pale-pink drapes, modelled seated on a mound resting his left arm on a plinth, his head downcast, his quiver and arrows beside him, on a triangular base with canted corners moulded with acanthus leaves and titled in black script Cas de vaincre/je me repose. (very minor damages)
