A Meissen figure of Cupid
Circa 1880, incised F14., Pressnummer 114, iron-red 58.
Naked, modelled holding a jug over a flaming heart which rests on a pedestal, before a cloud, on triangular base with canted corners moulded with acanthus leaves and titled in black script Je blesse et soulage (head of arrow broken off)
