A color ink pen on paper drawing of Snoopy as a pilot with a caption reading Greetings To All/The Poor Blighters/At Solid Anchor! with the artist's last name only signature evident in the lower right-hand corner. Included is the original transmittal envelope with a postmark reading Sebastopol, Calif. Mar-3 '71 and Charles Schulz's return address stamped in two places. The current consignor was stationed at a base in Vietnam callled Solid Anchor and while there, he wrote to the cartoonist requesting a drawing to cheer up the soldiers; Schulz complied by sending this fun sketch.
