A GEORGE IV ROSEWOOD WORK/GAMES TABLE
After a design by Gillows
The rectangular top with central sliding panel veneered with a chess-board to one side, and revealing a leather-lined backgammon board, above three real and false frieze drawer, the central larger drawers fitted, above a work bag and on rectangular end-supports with carved scrolls and inset with a turned spindle, united by a padded stretcher, and on reeded bun feet with concealed castors.
