A roemer, peaches, crabs, oysters, a clay pipe and a knife on a stone shelf

We are grateful to Mr. Fred Meijer of the RKD for suggesting the attribution on the basis of photographs. The artist was active in Antwerp by 1657 and was recorded as a member of the guild in 1659. He was probably identical with the painter Theodoor, who provided still lifes for the Antwerp firm of Forchoudt between 1667-1671.
